Scoring Rules
⭐ Exact score: Points depend on the round — 3 pts (R32, R16, QF, 3rd Place), 5 pts (Semi-Finals), 8 pts (Final). Example: predict Germany 2–1 France in the QF and that's the result → 3 pts. Same prediction in the Semi-Final → 5 pts.
✅ Correct full-time result + winner: You must predict the right type of result (win or draw) AND the right advancing team to earn winner points. Example: predict Germany 3–0 but result is Germany 1–0 → 2 pts (QF). But if you predicted a draw and Germany actually won in 90 minutes → 0 pts, even if Germany was your pick to advance.
🥅 Penalty shootouts: If you predict a draw, you must also pick who wins on penalties. If the match goes to pens in real life and you predicted a draw with the right penalty winner → +1 pt bonus on top of your winner points. If you predicted a win (not a draw) but the match went to pens, the +1 bonus does not apply.
❌ Wrong result type: If you predicted a draw but the match was decided in 90 minutes (or vice versa) → 0 pts, even if the right team advanced.
❌ Wrong winner: 0 pts — even if your score was close.
